位於七期秋紅谷生態公園旁、由日本建築大師安藤忠雄設計的台中市國際級兒童圖書館建築「童書之森」，預計於5月23日動工，台中市政府與聯聚文教基金會特別策劃充滿溫度與創意的彩繪圍籬活動，邀請大同國小、惠文國小與惠來國小超過200位學童，以畫筆描繪心中的「童書之森」，讓原本作為工程安全用途的圍籬，轉化為一條充滿想像的藝術長廊，讓城市在建設的過程也充滿樂趣。

「聯聚與談會」於臺中國家歌劇院中劇院舉辦，以「Sculpting the City 美學造市」為主題，邀請來自義大利米蘭的ACPV ARCHITECTS兩位創辦人，主席Antonio Citterio、執行長Patricia Viel，以及聯聚建設創辦人江韋侖先生，共同探討建築設計如何影響城市美學。
